Is your Fed Ex delivery to NSC? Do you know who signed your Package.
It was R. Williams for me.
Also there is a 4 digit reference : Case #xxxx . Do you have that, Is it anything to do with our 485 or is it just the FEDEX reference number?

I have Canadian GC since 2.9 years ago. I have to move to Canada in the next 2-3 months in order to maintain it. Should I move? I have stable job in US. I mostly thought I would have received my US GC by now. Is there any legal implications if I don't move. Do I just have to mail my canadian GC back to canadian consultate?

I believe that if you travel after the expiration date on the visa stamped on your passport, you will need to go to the US consulate in India to get a multiple entry stamp to be able to return to the US. It is advisable that you don't travel unless you absolutely have to. You may want to renew your H1b and then go for the stamping. That way, you will have the stamping valid for the next 3 years.

I applied for my EAD in July 2007, got it approved Oct 2007, mailed to me but I NEVER received it.
Today I called USCIS and it says that since it is not "returned to them as undeliverable", they CAN NOT do anything . I will need to APPLY for it again??
Please Help since I dont know what to do as I was expecting the EAD card to start a new job.

I've a terrible situation now:
My current H1 is probably going to be cancelled by Apr 30th , I'm looking for a Job on my EAD and will hopefully get one soon by Apr 30th.
However H1 cancellation means H4 will get auto-cancelled - Is that true ? If yes, then my spouse will lose her status ?? She couldn't apply for her "derivative 485" when I filed mine in July 2007 due to wrong DOB on Birth Certificate. Pricipal Applicant's priority Date is Mar 2005 and EB3-I and there is no signs for it to be current within next 3-4 years.
What are my spouse's options without falling out of status or leaving the country and remain separated for 3-4 yrs or more years till the PD gets current ? We have a Kid who is US citizen.

our notice date on receipt is Sept 12, 2007....but no FP notice yet!
How long does it take to get FP notice? one of our fren got receipt later than us but already got FP notice ....

Please can you tell me which service centre i yours . I also got CPO mail on 08/14 and 08/15 and on 08/19/ I-485 approval sent by mail and soft lud on 08/20 ,but no physical card
NSC. BTW I too has a soft LUD on August 20th. I am sure you wil get it next day or two.

I understand your frustration, but its like holding IV responsible for getting your GC - that does not seem right.
Contributing now is important; and after getting gc's, its equally important to support the people who are still stuck in the process.
My First donation was in Jan 2006. The latest one was, 100$ for the Washington meet this year. And I had a lot more in between. This will be just on top of it. How is my GC is related to IV. I dont think I am holding anybody responsible for it.
